Kenzie Garskovas

Step Aerobics Instructor

Kenzie found her love of movement at a very young age, participating in dance classes as a child and eventually working her way up to teaching dance and choreographing full-scale musical theater productions at her local community theater. She later graduated from UMass Amherst with a degree in Biology and began a career in biochemistry. After graduating, Kenzie became more interested in the world of fitness. She explored various group fitness classes, including spin, Pilates, and dance cardio, enjoying the sense of community and inspired by the instructors’ abilities to create an encouraging and motivating environment. It was in rhythm-based classes that Kenzie truly found her groove and fell in love with step training. Kenzie is excited to blend her dance background with the anatomy and physiology knowledge she gained from her degree. She looks forward to bringing her passion for fun choreography and upbeat music to The Training Lab’s step classes. Kenzie believes that no matter your fitness level, as long as you’re moving, sweating, and having fun, you’re getting a great workout!
